Frequently Asked Questions
Economy versus Annual
Economy has no up-front cost, so it’s free to get started. You will incur a 5% usage fee on funds raised. Ask supporters to help offset these costs and you could use CausePilot free. Annual licenses (First Class, Jet Set, Starship) do not incur a usage fee.
No Limits
There are no limits to the number of administrators or flight managers, items you can include in your catalogs, number of sponsors, or participants. There are high volume limits on email and text message sends simply to prevent over usage and spam.

Payment Processing
Credit cards are processed through Stripe, the industry standard for online payments. Automatically receive payouts every 2 business days. Stripe’s standard rate is 2.9% + .30 cents per transaction. A discounted rate for nonprofits may be available.
